The deep reds, muted golds, and dark background have softened considerably with age, giving the surface a wonderfully subdued appearance.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe hinged lid remains attached and functional, though it sits unevenly and the tin shows substantial age throughout. Rust, scratches, discoloration, paint and lithograph loss, small dents, surface wear, and oxidation are all present. The underside of the lid shows particularly heavy oxidation.
