This vintage Depression-era pressed glass bowl features a beautifully detailed floral pattern with a scalloped rim and textured background. The design includes stylized flower medallions and flowing vine motifs surrounding a central starburst pattern, giving the piece a delicate yet classic appearance.
Pressed glass like this became popular in American homes during the 1930s and early 1940s. These pieces were produced in large quantities by Midwestern glass companies and were often sold as affordable tableware during the Great Depression. Despite their modest origins, many examples remain beloved today for their charming patterns and elegant simplicity.
This bowl is perfectly sized for serving berries, desserts, nuts, or small snacks. It also works beautifully as a decorative piece on a shelf, kitchen counter, or vintage table setting.
The clear glass allows light to highlight the intricate pressed design, making it a lovely addition to farmhouse, cottage, or traditional interiors.
Condition is very good with normal light wear consistent with age.
A charming and authentic example of American Depression-era glassware.
