Vintage Hand-Embroidered Linen Table Runner with Floral Basket Motif and Crocheted Lace Edge, c.1930s

This vintage hand-embroidered table runner features a charming floral basket motif stitched onto natural linen and finished with a delicate crocheted lace edge. The embroidery displays soft pastel colors including dusty blue, coral, pale pink, yellow, and green, arranged in a classic Depression-era flower basket design.
The runner appears to date to approximately the 1930s–1940s, when decorative household linens like this were commonly hand embroidered as part of domestic needlework projects or hope chest trousseaus. The design includes French knot flower centers, stem stitch vines, and scalloped border embroidery, with a hand-crocheted lace edge attached along the perimeter.
This piece would have traditionally been used on a buffet, dresser, vanity, or piano, and today it makes a beautiful accent for vintage or farmhouse interiors.
Condition is good vintage condition with intact embroidery and edging. Minor creasing and light age toning consistent with age and storage may be present.
A lovely example of early 20th-century handmade household linen.
